Kalivaki (Kalyvaki) Beach is a sandy beach just West of the Georgioupolis River.
The beach has no facilities of its own but nearby Georgioupolis has plenty of accommodation and facilities for food and drink. The beach is so close to Georgioupolis that it is seen as one of the beaches of Georgioupolis.
Location:
37 kilometres East of Chania and also easily accessed from Rethymno only 22 kilometres away. Adjacent to the Georgioupolis River.
Public buses run regularly between Chania and Rethymno and most of these buses will stop for the beach if requested to do so.
