Parascending around Crete
Parascending is a very popular sport on Crete with plenty of locations available, especially during the Summer months, when many hotels and resorts offer this extreme sport off their beaches in idyllic locations all around Crete.

Being towed into the air from the back of speedboat is a great way to get a great adrenaline rush if you enjoy adventure sports and see Crete's fantastic scenery from the air at the same time.
In the Chania district beaches offering parascending include Agia Marina, Platanias and Oasis Beach near Kalamaki.
Panormo, in the Prefecture of Rethymnon, Rethymno town's beaches, Bali and Aghia Galini (Agia Galini) on the south coast, are amongst some of the locations available for parascending in the district of Rethymnon.
The Prefecture of Heraklion has parascending at a number of its resorts including: Hersonissos (Chernosissos), Malia, Stalis, Kokkini Hani and Agia Pelagia.
In Lasithi (Lassithi), the resort of Agios Nikolaos has facilities for parascending.
