Travel to Crete by Ferry
There are a number of companies providing ferry services between Europe and Crete from Italy (Ancona, Venice, etc.) and Northern Greece (Piraeus, Athens) including Anek Lines and Minoan Lines.
The main ports at which ferries enter Crete are Heraklion, Chania and Rethymno. Ferry services also operate to Sitia, Agios Nikolaos and Kissamos. Many ferry services operate all year round while some provide a Summer service only. Ferries include both vehicle and passenger ferries.
